The fabrication of the 1st batch of coin and mono cells with SAFELiMOVE-materials has been achieved! Watch the video below.
These cells have been assembled using an initial set of materials comprising new polymer and oxidic electrolytes, NMC cathode material and an ultrathin Lithium metal foil as developed by the SAFELiMOVE-partners.

The next step will be to use these cells for interface characterization and electrochemical testing. The feedback on comprehensive testing of delivered coin and mono solid state cells will be used to improve the next generation solid electrolyte and active SAFELiMOVE-materials, optimize cell design and tailor the cell manufacturing procedure.
